This manor-style house was built in 1858 by the iron merchant, William Bailey Lang. The property originally occupied 34 acres and was fashioned after an estate in Derbyshire, England. Today, four acres remain, featuring some of the oldest trees in Scarsdale. Rowsley was sold to the Scarsdale Woman's Club in 1928.
